SCARSDALE BOWL AWARD WINNER
2026
Terri Simon, a Greenacres resident since 1989, is the recipient of the 2026 Scarsdale Bowl. Since 1943, this venerated award has been presented annually to those who have “given unselfishly of time, energy, and effort to the civic welfare of the community.” Terri’s nearly four decades of service, characterized by deep commitment and compassion, embody the very spirit of civic engagement the Bowl seeks to celebrate.
Now retired from her legal career as a partner at Kehl, Katzive & Simon, Terri has navigated multiple boards through significant challenges with a tireless work ethic and a collaborative spirit. Her impact spans foundational pillars of Scarsdale life:
Mayor Justin Arest notes that Terri "truly embodies the best of Scarsdale," citing her thoughtfulness and perseverance as qualities that have made a lasting difference. Described by colleagues as a mentor who leads by example, Terri’s legacy is defined by her warmth and a strategic vision that has helped Scarsdale grow and thrive. Terri and her husband, Eric Levine, raised their two sons in the village and now enjoy the community alongside their grandchildren.
"I am finding it very profound to be included in the roster of extraordinary volunteers who’ve done so much for our shared community." - Terri Simon
